The combination Follitropin alfa (R-HSFS) / Lutropin alfa is used to help women get pregnant.

• If you’re allergic to the active substances or any other component of this medicine.

• If you have primary ovarian failure (your ovaries no longer make eggs).

• If you have a pituitary tumor or other tumor in your brain.

• If you have uncontrolled thyroid or adrenal problems.

• If you have cancer in your female organs (ovaries, breast, uterus).

• If you have abnormal bleeding from your uterus or vagina.

• If you have ovarian cysts or enlarged ovaries, not due to polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).

• If you are pregnant, think you may be pregnant or breast-feeding.

• Talk to your doctor about all your medical conditions before taking this medicine including If you or any member of your family have porphyria (an inability to breakdown porphyrins that may be passed on from parents to children).

• Using this medicine increases the risk of developing Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS), a condition where ovaries get enlarged.

• Taking this medicine may raise the chance of getting pregnant with more than one baby at the same time.

• Miscarriage might occur when this medicine is used for pregnancy.

• Pregnancy outside the womb (ectopic pregnancy) might occur with this medicine.

• If you have or previously had blood clot problems or have family members with these problems, you have a higher risk of having them while taking this medicine.

Stop using this product and seek immediate medical help if you develop rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.

• Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) where your ovaries get enlarged and fluid builds up in your abdomen.

• Blood vessel problems such as blood clots.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.

• The medicine is intended for adult women.

• Take as indicated by your doctor.

• It is given as an injection under the skin (subcutaneous).

• Use right after mixing.

• The usual starting dose is one injection daily. Your doctor may gradually increase the dose for you.

• Store the ampoule at room temperature 68 to 77°F (20 to 25°C).

• Store in the original container to protect from light.

• Keep this medicine out of reach of children.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the package. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.
