  • Blocks the interaction between programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) and programmed death-1 (PD-1), leading to increased T-cell activation and immune response against cancer cells

 

Therapeutic Indications Of  Bavencio Avelumab 20Mg Vial

  • Used in case of:
  1. Merkel cell carcinoma
  2. Urothelial carcinoma

 

Method Of Administration Of Bavencio Avelumab 20Mg Vial

  • Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
  • Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Administered by intravenous infusion over a period of 60 minutes every 2 weeks
  • The recommended dose is 800 mg, but the dose may be adjusted based on patient response.
  • Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
  • If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
  • If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
  • Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

  • Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them, but you may suffer from:
