Therapeutic Indications Of Genprid 50 Mg Capsules
Dogmatil is used to treat certain forms of anxiety in adults and certain behavioral disorders in adults and children over 6 years of age
Also, it is a neuroleptic antipsychotic
Method Of Administration Of Genprid 50 Mg Capsules
Take this medicine by mouth.
Swallow the drug whole with a drink of water. Do not chew it.
Take with or without food
If you feel the effect of your medicine is too weak or too strong, do not change the dose yourself, but ask your doctor.
The amount of the drug you take will depend on your illness. Follow your doctor’s instructions carefully.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.
Undesirable Side Effects Of Genprid 50 Mg Capsules
Although the following side effects are not common in everyone, some patients may complain from:
absence of menstrual period, enlarged breasts
weight gain
drowsiness
shaking, rigidity, and/or abnormal movements including facial (and tongue) movements
dizziness
heart rhythm disorders, which may lead to death
seizures
rash
increase in liver enzymes
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Precautions While Taking Genprid 50 Mg Capsules
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant, or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Your doctor will discuss the possible risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding
