Neurobion is a combination of 3 essential B vitamins ( B1, B6 & B12). These Vitamins are of special importance for the health of the peripheral and central nervous system. Their effect on the regeneration of nerves has been shown in several studies.
Each Neurobion tablet contains:
- Vitamin B1(thiamine mononitrate) 100mg; helps energize nerve cells
- Vitamin B6(pyridoxine hydrochloride) 200mg; helps restore nerve signals
- Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin); helps regenerate nerve fibers
Neurobion have several indications, including the following:
- Neuritis and neuralgia, especially cervical syndrome, shoulder-arm syndrome, lumbalgia, sciatica, facial paresis
- Alcoholic polyneuropathy
- Diabetic neuropathy, including impotence due to autonomic neuropathy
- Metabolic and neuropathic changes due to pregnancy and oral contraceptives
- Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy
- Drug-induced neuropathies
- Supplemental therapy following major surgery or debilitating illness
Dosage & Administration:
patients can take one coated tablet 1-3 times daily.
tablets should be swallowed without chewing with a little liquid with or after meals. The dosage and the duration of treatment are to be defined by the physician depending on the condition of the patient.
Before Prescribing Neurobion Remember the following:
- Don't use this medicine if the patient have an allergy to any of the ingredients
- Neurobion is not suitable for children under 14 years old
- Patients may experience some side effects like nausea, vomiting, urticaria, etc. , in cases of any severe reaction patients should be referred to their physician.
- In cases of using other medications, check for drug- drug interactions
- Store this medication in room temperature out of reach of children.
